Registration fees for 50M and 50Km

  • $90 until June 10, 2024
  • $95 until July 10, 2024
  • $100 until August 10, 2024
  • $105 until September 10, 2024
  • $110 until October 10, 2024

Switching events until October 1, 2024 but some restriction may apply.

  • You can switch the course you selected at the time of registration to a different one at no extra cost between 50 mile and 50 km, however, some restrictions may apply:
    • After September 19, 2024, switching from 50M to 50Km will be granted depending if there are enough seats on buses chartered for 50Km.
  • There is no limit to how many times you switch the course throughout the year as long as you make your final decision before the deadline.
  • In order to switch the course, you can do it yourself via logging into RunSignUp.com or Email CanLake50@gmail.com, state your name and the course you want to switch to.

Deferrals to another year

Deferrals to another year are $10 per deferral.

Log into your RunSignUp.com account to initiate the deferral, or email Race Director Gil Robs at CanLake50@gmail.com

Deferrals must be requested by September 10, 2024.

Transfer to another participant

Transfer to another participant is available at $10 per transfer.

  • The recipient of the transfer pays a participation fee, plus the transfer fee.
  • Transferrer gets a full refund after a recipient of the transfer pays for the transfer and the registration fee.
  • Transfer to another participant must be initiated by October 9, 2024.
  • Transfer to another participant must be completed by October 10, 2024.

Gift transfers to another participant

Gift transfers to another participant are $10 per transfer.

  • The recipient pays a $10 transfer fee but does not pay the race registration fee.
  • The transferrer does not get any money back.
  • Transfer to another participant must be initiated by October 9, 2024.
  • Transfer to another participant must be completed by October 10, 2024.

Referral refunds

You have a chance to participate for free using the referral refund program!

  1. Sign up for the race and receive a confirmation Email.
  2. Inside of your confirmation Email look for the following text: Remember to invite your friends with your special URL (https://runsignup.com/Race/NY/Canandaigua/CanLake50?raceRefCode=z4K6SYm0&utm_source=RunSignUp&utm_medium=Referral&utm_campaign=[XXXXXX]). 
  3. Share your personalized referral registration link via Email, via Facebook, or any other means
  4. Receive a $5 refund after someone registers for #CanLake50 using personalize registration link you shared

Share your personalized registration link as many times as you wish or until your registration fee is fully refunded

For example: let's say you paid $90 to register for #CanLake50:

  • Refer 1 friend and receive 1 x $5 = $5 refund.
  • Refer 5 friends and receive 5 x $5 = $25 refund
  • Refer 18 friends and receive 18 x $5 = $90 refund or max refund you can receive.

Please note that your friend must use your personalized referral registration link in order for you to receive a $5 refund.
